Using the Internet for Fun and Sanity Breaks

Sometimes you just have to stop the madness and take a break. Actually, going outside for a walk is a great way to clear your head and calm down. However, that jealous teacher who thinks that librarians have a free ride may see you and think you are slacking. Getting away from your computer is just what you may need. Here are some things to do away from the computer that may be mind-clearing:

Pester the office staff; hide in the AV room or bathroom and browse a magazine; pretend to take something to the gym teacher just so you can walk for awhile; go see your best friend on campus and pretend to take her something that she needs; make and drink good coffee; straighten the magazine rack and browse while you are doing it; or talk to some students about something that has nothing to do with school.

However, leaving your computer may not be an option. But here are some sites that may help your mind clear to give you a new perspective on the project on which you are working.
