Web Quest Collaboration in Elementary Schools
Web Quests are great opportunities for teachers and librarians to collaborate. The teacher and librarian work together to produce the content and resources with which the students will engage. Web quests should provide higher-level interaction with the content that just regurgitating the facts on a web page. Consider having the students answer questions from all four categories. Don't forget to use other library resources, such as trade books and CD-ROMs, as applicable.
Here is the official page for Web quests, created by Bernie Dodge. It will provide the structure for the design.
If you don't have a way to post the web quest as an actual web page, create it using a word processor with links. Have the links bookmarked (in their own folder) on the computers the students will use.
